Get thee out and buy the new Pavement reissue of their second LP, "Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain, L.A.'s Desert Origins"- it is fantastic. http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/record-reviews/p/pavement/crooked-rain-crooked-rain.shtml It follows 2002 re-issue of "Slanted and Enchanted." Matador has done a great job with these, and I hope they keep them coming.
I once lost a trivia game to Steven Malkmus here in PDX at a bar called Beuhlaland. I thought it would be too dorky to harass him, but I really, really wanted to.
